Zone-by-zone heating, cooling and hot water from the phone, with My Rithum — a new handover, backup and restore platform — launching behind it.

London, 7 September 2026 — Rithum has released the Rithum Home app for iOS and Android, giving clients of Rithum installations remote control of their heating, cooling and hot water. Launching alongside it is My Rithum, the platform through which homeowners can fine tune their configuration while the installer retains control.

The app mirrors the Rithum Stat interface already running on the wall. Every zone the system controls appears with its own setpoint and its own seven-day schedule. Home, Away and Holiday modes apply to the property as a whole, but the behaviour of each is configured zone by zone: Away might switch the kitchen off, pause the schedule in the main bedroom and leave a nursery running exactly as it was.

Scheduling continues to run on the Switch itself rather than in Rithum’s cloud, so a property keeps full local control of its heating through an internet outage.

The app launches with Rithum Stat control, with further capability to follow.

For integrators, the app answers a request they have been fielding for years. Clients increasingly assume phone control as standard, and providing it has often meant introducing a second system alongside the one specified. Rithum Home presents the same interface the client already uses on the wall, requires no additional hardware, and asks nothing further of the integrator beyond the installation itself.

Handover, backup and restore

My Rithum addresses what happens after handover. Specification, configuration and job management remain in the Rithum Project Portal, which is unchanged. My Rithum is its client-facing counterpart: on completion the installer issues an invitation, and a client who accepts it takes those Switches onto an account of their own, along with the ability to adjust the system themselves and the responsibility that comes with doing so. In practice most will leave it with the company that installed it, and an account of their own does not displace that relationship.

The platform also introduces backup and restore. A Switch’s configuration can be saved and reapplied, either to the same unit or to a replacement, which reduces a warranty exchange from a reconfiguration exercise to a swap and a restore. The same saved setup can be used as a template so the next room begins from something already proven.

My Rithum is available to every Rithum owner at no charge, covering device status, remote restart and over-the-air firmware updates. A subscription adds the elements that genuinely depend on Rithum’s cloud: configuration backup, remote configuration changes, extended warranty of up to four years on Standard and five on Enhanced, and upgrade credit accruing towards future Rithum hardware. Plans are charged per Switch, with the rate falling as the number of Switches rises.
